Oh boy, just saw this amp today. Really looking forward to it.

I don't even care about the Kosmos control. In fact, I'd pay $50 to have it removed. The best feature is the mid EQ controls and high power. But yeah... just take my money already

Man, if only they put a tuner in this thing. Once you get used to the built in tuners of the TC amps, it's hard to buy an amp without it. Why not throw it on the higher power amp too? If it's handy on the other mini amp, wouldn't it be on the mega too?

Built in tuners are gimmicks for practice amps.

I use a Polytune on the floor in front of me, but same deal. It's 50% tuner, 50% mute switch for me, since my bass doesn't go out of tune after I've tuned it at the top of the evening. To me, having an on-board tuner would be a negative. Also, on stage, I'm not going to turn around and face the amp.

Obviously that's how you'd have to do it. I've done that for years and years. I have 2 pedal tuners already sitting here. Do you have any idea how many people bought the TC heads over the years just because of the built in tuners? I bet it's a decent percentage. It's just so nice to not have to bring anything but the amp head and a cable, ever. That's it. Some people like me, just happen to like minimal setups. Some don't care, I get that, big deal. I really like the tuners built in. My comment is meant more of "if you put it in your smaller amp, then why on earth wouldn't you on the larger amp?" It's twice the size, costs more, throw a tuner in there! Even if it's like Line 6's is on their HD heads, where the row of lighted buttons act as a tuner, with the middle one being in tune.

I'll for sure buy the mini mega or minimax, or whatever it is called. That one ticks all the checkboxes on what I like in amps. Small, loud, and tuners.

Same here. Korg Pitch Black.
Don't have to look away from the audience to tune.

We're all different here now, aren't we! You like pedal tuners and and amp, I don't. My only choices at the moment are TC amps, and the upcoming small peavey micro. That' all I'm saying, if they put it in the small one, with less room on the faceplate, and lower price, why not throw it in the bigger one?

I have never really had a tuner preference one way or the other...I have had a Korg tuner in my bag for like years...I had thought of doing a pedalboard and integrating one there, but it would never turn me one way or the other as far as a head goes...it would just be a convenience while I was practicing maybe

Onboard tuner would be great in a setting where it was the house amp, maybe at a bar/ venue/ session/ university. Otherwise I always have my Polytune on my board, and my board goes where my bass goes.

In any case, this is going to be the best bass amp ever. I just noticed that if you register the amp with peavey within 90 days, you get a 5 year warranty.

I may never love another amp again.

I've always seen toys like tuners and DSP modeling a sign of below professional grade entries. A hook if you will for newer players. Of course, I am a grump old fart that grew up with a volume, bass and treble controls to make things work.
