And the 45lb ALL tube Mega-Mega? Or Mega Squared? LOL ..Just kidding.

Looking forward to hearing this new Peavey ....and I haven't used those words .....maybe ever! ...Even though I did have a MegaBass amp many years back. ...and it was very good!

LOL. I think the name is really a reference to the original MegaBass. Bobby and the folks in the repair dept. in Meridian tell me that the original Mega was a favorite product among the Peavey staff. I know we love it:

I should weigh my MegaBass some time. I think it's about as heavy as it could be considering it's just 2 rack spaces. But it was one of the first Class D amps, and it still rocks the house!

Just make sure the Aux Input would accept a stereo signal and combine them (being electronically isolated from the input device seeing them combined) for units such as Iphones or similar, they do not like shorted right and left outs. When using aux signals they are usually stereo.

I have been thinking of getting a backup amp for about a year now, lots of gigs and only one amp might not be a good plan. This minimega might be it, like the design etc. Does anyone have a link to a photo of the optional foot switch and what does it control?
