Well, I now have a peavey series 400 head and a peavey 2x10 cab and it seems to distort the low ends on mid to high volume. i can't even run the bass knob past 12 o clock.... is it the head messed up, the cab messed up or not enough cab? Or could it be the speaker cable? I'm still new to cabs and amps, i've played combos all my life.
