BTW if anyone knows where I could get a truss rod cover I'd appreciate it. It's a little thing but I don't think I'll be getting rid of this bass...ever.
Keep an eye on eBay. I see parts for T series guitars/basses all the time. It might take a while, but you'll see one eventually. I just bought a set of T-40 pickups. They are the "blade style". I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them yet. I may buy a beat up Epiphone Thunderbird and drop them in that.
I had a T-40 Natural that I recently rehabbed and the only thing I couldn't find was the truss rod cover. After I sold it, I found two - each for $25. I'd have passed on that larceny.

Picked up my T-40 off Craigslist for $250. Pretty sure it's a 1978, it doesn't have much wear. I love this thing, I can't believe the price.

Dude! Pick up your room!![]()
I was going to say the same thing, but, that is the way my room looked when I was 15. Bass, amp, mess.
My daughters room looks the same way.... Drums. Mess.
I may be a little too content in my bachelorhood...Guess I have to clean my room before I post pictures to talkbass again.
