Do any of the Allen keys fit the bridge saddle screws?
Ok, not very many people have mentioned using the neck tilt option. I have my 40 dialed in, setup-wise. I would like the action a hair lower, though. If I set it any lower, I get some slight buzz when striking an open E. Do you think making a slight adjustment with the neck tilt would help me with this? Thanks!
Probably better (and about as easy) to use a shim. I've heard of people damaging the neck by setting the tilt adjustment screw and then overtightening the fastening screws.

You want the 3rd one in on the socket side, keys on the other side (ruler) are metric.
I am actually confused about this in general too. It’s not too hard to keep a good playing setup on my T-40 so I am not sure what function the neck tilt really serves, not where in the setup process I would want to change it. Can anybody point to a good resource for that adjustment?

I pretend like the neck-tilt feature doesn’t exist. I’m also not super finicky about fret buzz so YMMV also my T-40’s setup is pretty spot on already

It will work just fine, remember, a little bit goes a long way. Don't be tempted to give it "one for the Queen".
yeah, this. When I first got a T-40 (15-20 years ago?) I was setting it up and playing around with the neck tilt and found that just the slightest adjustment made the setup feel absolutely perfect for me. I think a lot of people hate them because you can see a lot of examples of these with split necks, presumably from people cranking the hell out of it. Use it sparingly and make sure you loosen the neck screws a little to allow it to move while you do.

I would make saddle adjustments first. If the saddles can't go low enough or get too high, then it is time for tilt/shim.
How difficult is it to get new electronics (tone and volume pots, phase switch or pickup selector switch) for the T-40? Also, where can I order a new metal nut? Many thanks to anyone who can give me direction with this.
