I finally got a T-40. It has a replacement pickup switch that does not match at all.
I've seen a flat blade replacement for the phase switch, but not the PU selector.

Does anyone know of a replacement pickup selector switch? Otherwise I may pick up a switch with a long metal bat/toggle and grind two of the sides flat, and grind the tip flat.

In the past, I've seen some for sale on Ebay and Reverb by just doing a search for "Peavey T-40."

Its nearly mint. $840 with case. They are getting harder to find and this was less than a 60 min drive so I could try it out.

It plays amazing... the tones it can produce are surprising. I have 2 70s rics, and blindfolded I think it sounds close enough when both are single coil.

Honestly I was kinda hoping for a road worn bass with lots of old mojo.. This feels barely played. It's a keeper.

@Scottkarch I bought one on Ebay last year..wasnt cheap..from memory $21AU

The wee switch tips have bent or gone missing, though the switches still operate without any real problems. The back side of the upper bout has some sort of finish issue, visible only to the player. Other than that, just the minor scratches one would expect.

My T40, Mk VI, BW15 cab and 2x15 Kustom are not ever leaving my living room.

Congrats on the T40.

* Obligatory weight joke, but one of my main 6s is heavier than either of my T40s and doesn't bother my old ass one bit.
