I have a line on a '78 T-40 and wondered if there was any significance to the year. It has the toaster pups, but are there any other issues to be wary of with that year? It's natural and in good condition.
I'm not worried about the deal I'd get. It seems very reasonable. I haven't seen it, but I may make the 1 1/2 hr drive for the price.
Again, just was wondering if there were any pluses or minuses to the year.

Thanks. I've just gone through the thread and figured that '78 was the first year. I don't have any other info, and just the one pic of the one I'm hoping to snag. I do note that the case is the rounded version, rather than the rectangle. Seller hasn't got back to me. I've lost out on a couple of others, and worry that the same may happen this time.
