Peavy Grind BXP 4

I've had this bass since I started playing (about one year back) and am wondering everybody's opinion on this bass, or any Peavy basses that they have played/owned. I know it's a bit soon to think about an upgrade, but I really liked this bass that had a J neck and P body. I'm also liking the Stingrays.

Main reason I bought it was cause it played well, looked nice and was affordable.

I think the BXP models are all pretty nice. I had a Cirrus BXP at one time and it felt like a much more expensive bass. I've played a few Grinds and they're nice too. Only weak spot on them seems to be their electronics. You could always change the pickups out if you want a different tone.

If you ever get a chance to try out some USA Peavey basses like the Fury/Foundation/Dynabass/Millennium..etc., you should. The Peavey USA stuff is all fantastic. Definitely a step (or two or three) above the BXP models.

Yea, I was thinking of switching out the pick up. Fortunately I work at a music store, so we got all the tools I could need there, only thing is I would have to go there on my day off, and lets face it, who wants to do that? Thanks for the feedback!
