Not the clearest picture, but here's Nick Thieneman of Young Widows:

I can see a Morley A/B switch, Boss DD-?, Boss NS-2, Boss EQ (notice the heavy Bass-Cut setting), Boss TU-2, and a ProCo RAT.
He changed up some stuff on the last tour. New Emperors for everyone, too.
He has a Bluebeard now, but only used it on one song.
Are those the Sunn Coliseum 4X12 PA speakers behind him? The ones where the speakers are all vertical? If so I just saw a hardcore band from Milwaukee called Widower use some for their bass last night and it sounded phenominal.
I think I've seen him with a Boss OC-2/3 in the past also.
That photo is actually post-Emperor Backline. It's just a studio shot where everything is in shambles and there are a few random bits tossed in. They are all (live, most in the context of this photo) 4x12(?) Emperor Cabs with the speakers aligned vertically.

Man, that board's changed quite a bit since I last saw him!![]()
Hmm that emblem in the top right of it right next to the ball of light looks like it says Sunn but you seem pretty confident that they're Emperor and I'm not doubting they make something like that.
P.S. = I love Russian Circles, such a great band. Also, what's the black pedal with one knob on Brian Cook's board?
You might be right. That is a studio shot to my knowledge, so random stuff could be all over the place. That looks a lot like the Emperor cabs Young Widows had built, but that also does look a lot like the Sunn logo.
Regardless, It's an awesome shot. I'll have to check the band out.
