Hey guys this is my pedalboard so far. Any advice on what I should add to it? Looking for a chorus and possibly a line selector and a volume pedal. Also been looking at the b7k. Probably going to lose a few from this set up. Any advice would be great! Thanks!

That's a really open ended and general question and thus impossible to answer.

Maybe you'll get some replies if you give some more info
- what music do you play
- budget
- what don't you like about what you have now
- what effects do you miss for what you play
- examples of sounds or music you are looking to make

Yes, more details would help. And is that the order you're thinking of going with tentatively?

I'd get an OD. I also can't recommend the B7K enough, what an awesome preamp. Then you could use it or the MXR pre as an OD. For chorus I think the tech 21 boost bass chorus is sweet or the source audio orbital. SA is also releasing another, simpler, chorus called the Gemini I believe. Looks really cool.

Other than that, more details would be wanted to help you further accurately.

Well, you've got a lot of MXR and some EHX on the board. A lonely Boss tuner.

So you should get a Boss chorus pedal of some kind, to balance out the branding on the board. Based on what you've got I'll make some assumptions about what's available to you locally and what you're willing to spend – no boot-eeky suggestions.

If you want a subtle chorus, the Boss CE-2B. Even subtler, but sounds great Boss Dimension C. Either option you'll have to hunt used though.
Boss LS-2 line selector will add further brand parity to your board. The new Boss FV50 mini volume pedals look great! If you prefer, the regular-sized Boss FV500 volume pedal. The volume pedals come in either High or Low impedance.
I'd be happy to have any of this on my board, and I do have the CE-2B.

Get the aforementioned Boss selection and the board tally would be

Brand :: # units
MXR :: 4
EHX :: 2
Boss :: 4

So clearly you'll need two more EHX pedals. The new micro-POG and a Flanger flavour of some kind: Electric Mistress (does chorus too), Flanger Hoax or a Neo-Mistress.

Regarding brand parity, I'm kidding of course, but the suggestions are genuine.

Gregmon's suggestion for a Tech 21 chorus was on the money, too. As has been suggested, more info is necessary for better targeted help; maybe fill out your profile.

Good looking board so far, look forward to seeing it with new editions and all wired up!

I have that MXR bass compressor and the MXR carbon copy as well.I really didn't care for the MXR DI and distortion unit. It was a good value but in the end I didn't care for the flavor of the dirt.

I am going to be trying the bass muff but I expect that I will like the darkglass b3K better. We will see. I have them both on my list at pedalgenie.com.
