Pedalboard for two pedals?

Is it worth getting/making a pedalboard for just two pedals? I have a Boss TU-2 and ODB-3 and thought it could be a good idea just to keep them together, between home, practice, and gigs.

I have one for 3. I just built it out of some scrap wood, covered part of it with fabric and added a little velcro.

I say yes. When you drag them out, hook them up, get them power, you'll wish it was already done.

I wouldn't even bother but if you must...grab yourself a piece of wood, cardboard, book cover (haha).

"Worth" is very subjective.

Do they make a 'microscopic'? Even the nano is too big. I want something to just hold two pedals. I'm sure I could make something, since I get the feeling nothing exists that's this small. I need to keep it in a gig bag pocket.

It will prevent wear and tear on the jacks and cables. It might save you some money in the long run, it might not.

I looked at that one, but it was too big to fit in my gig bag. In NYC you can't have too much stuff in your hands, dealing with the subway and all.

Agreed. I'll see what I have around the house that I can use. I might actually have a piece of 1x6 that was cut off from a shelf I made that might fit.

scrap wood. i used to get annoyed my guitar player never used a board and used to use 9 diffrent pedals

if you feel it makes things easier sure. my brother plays guitar and made a little two pedal board for when he doesn't want or have room for his much, much bigger one.

You might want to look into a hardshell case for powertools. I have seen people convert them into pedalboards. It would be small, light, inexpensive and have a handle.

Something like a Black & Decker power drill case. You would have to do some Dremel work on it and get some velcro, but if I were you, thats what I would look at.....

I vote make something yourself with scrapwood. Or get fancy and use Acrylic.

I currently only have 2 pedals and I made a board for them. I was going nuts having them loose in a backpack to and from rehearsals. At least now they are secured to something and It makes set up that much easier.
