Pedalboard Mounted Power Amps?

Are there any Class D Amps premanufactured in housings small enough to fit on a pedalboard? Seem like a simple enough thing to do (no, I'm not an electrical engineer), as guitar players have enjoyed something similar for quite some time...Looking at schematics and actual layouts of some popular designs, the outputs really just aren't that physically large.

The question is posed to have various task pres available via a bypass footswitch (available everywhere), then to a DI split, then to power amp.

Or has this been beat to death before?
 
I've seen the Quiter, but am curious if the tone stack is bypassable-that's kinda the point: to access an Aguilar, then whatever, without additional color after the preamp.

Think of it as moving a rack power amp to a pedal sized enclosure.

This type of concept has been crossing my mind as well with increasing frequency. Would be awesome to forego the rack and just have a small pedalboard with just enough room for my tuner, VTDI, and power amp.

Missing link seems to be the tiny power amp as noted here. :(

FWIW, the closest thing I can think of would be velcroing the tuner, VTDI, and maybe a small HPF on the top of an MB500... But then I'd need to make a tall enough custom case for it as I hate the prospect of knobs being bumped in transit.

It's been discussed quite a few times. It's really simple to implement too: just buy the micro amp of your choice and work out a switching arrangement via the EFX loop. Shrinking the size format a very small amount and losing the built in preamp is actually going to raise cost, or at least not save you any. Seems counter intuitive until you look at the bigger picture (start with economy of scale and regulatory testing costs), but there it is. And I'm saying this as someone who has actually built one myself and likes the concept quite a bit.
