Pedalboard Question

So, I've been suffering through some pedal G.A.S for the past couple years and I'm looking up my number from 4 to 6. The problem is, I lack a proper pedalboard. So I was curious... What's a good light and affordable pedalboard in the under 100$ range. I've been looking into the Pedaltrain Nano or Mini or whichever that is. Is it good? Or do you have any other recommendations for me?

When I needed a board, I thought how rediculous it was. They're so expensive for what they actually are. Soooo I went over to the hardware store (Home Depot actually) and bought a peice of lame ass partical board shelving. It appealed to me cause it was the dimensions I wanted. I wouldn't have to cut anything. Then I grabbed two cost effective handles, and some shallow screw on rubber feet. I found some of the loop side velcro fabric on line and ordered a roll. More than enough. Cheap. When the Velcro arrived I cut a peice and attached it to the board with 3M spray on adhesive. Screwed on the handles, left and right. Screwed on the feet. And wah lah! I now have a board. I put a power strip on it and use the Godlyke one spot style daisy chain to power my pedals.
I put together a cheap case for transporting my board also. The whole thing, all materials was just under $100 and my labor. It's a 4 foot board that holds a lot of pedals.
If your handy just build your own. You'll have to customize a bought one to suit your needs anyhow. This way it's just how you want and you spend less money. No one builds anything right these days either. Save yourself "some" aggravation. Do it yourself.

@scottfeldstein: How many pedals can the Mini accomodate? Also, I checked out your trip-hop group... Quite nice, I like it.

@Ifriff: I lack the time, tools and skills to do this. I live in Mexico currently and I travel to Canada to work in the summers. RIght now I lack the money too, seeing as I am a university student. I'd love to do that though. Mind you, I've wanted to build a bass for years now.

I actually only own one of their bass specific pedals. I have the El Grande, which I must say is kind of shite with an active bass, but with my passive Jazz it's quite lovely. On the guitar side of things I own a Carbon Copy and Analog Chorus. The Carbon Copy is so easy to set it's unbelieveable. Although, The AC was a little tougher to dial, when I did though... Holy ****. Thank you very much for your help, man.

I made a pedal board (literally, a pine board with gaffers tape wrapped around it) for my guitar playing lady friend. It has the same dimensions as a pedal train mini (did that on purpose so as to play around with available space until the day I splurge on one). Check it out:

As you can see, I'm a bit of a MXR fan myself (at least for the guitar board). 6 pedals (and more) are no problem with careful placement (and some Lava cables). I'm also using a Power All daisy chain (like the One Spot).
