That looks like what I'm thinking about. I have the BBE and a Boss TU-2 and want to put a DI on the end for use at church where I go with no stage amp. I am hesitant to use a Sansamp as I don't want my sound too colored, but I do want a tube preamp sound and an occasional tube overdrive tone - not for church but my cover band - and I want something small that can be powered by my TU-2 like the BBE.

Maybe I'd like the paradriver better than the bass driver...

Looks like I'd still have room for an X2 receiver as well...

Modulation, of course. :D

I have a CEB-3 that I decided not to mount it until I see if a phase90 or a nano small stone suits me even better.

Your journey sounds similar to mine. FYI, between the Phase90 and Nano Stone, I liked the Nano Stone. But, that's my ears.

If you like chorus and want a phaser/flanger on your board also I would suggest checking out the EBS Unichorus. It's a chorus and also has a flanger circuit. Might get the effect your looking for from your board in one additional pedal.

I'm now rethinking and refelcting on the need for both my Nano Small Stone and Unichorus to be on my board at the same time.

Okay you guys - how do you manage AC & wall warts on this small setups? Do you all spring for rather pricey Voodoo Labs power supply?

I have a one-spot with 5-outlet cable. Also have an 8 outlet cable if i'd need more, but always seem to restrain myself to 5 pedals on the board. Power needed for pedals is a serious issue for me, and has kept me from buying some pedals like a Tonebone Bassbone, etc that doesn't run off of 9v or 18v.

Yea I face the same problem as well but after a while i just gave up on those awkward voltage pedals. I suppose if you've got various different Vs pedals running through the pedalboard then get those multi power socket boards so you can just conveniently plug in the main plug. But considering the size of the mini, I dont think its very wise. The mini is suppose to increase economic space and conveniece for users so its kinda like your mini board where you carry the essential pedals, so make things easier for ourselves I prefer to select pedals that are of simliar voltages. Hahah still I dont think I helped you much but Im just sharing :D

I used to only carry around the EBS Multicomp and the Korg DT-10 in a bag, and then set them up before i play, doesn't really take too long.

But I've added a VXL Bass Attack and a Boss GEB-7 to the collection and now I think I need a pedal board to save on the various hassle of setting up 4 pedals all the time :)

Lookin' good! Looks like you knew what you wanted and the Mini fit the job.

Ya' know, if you swapped-out that DT10 for a Pitchblack you might be able to fit one more pedal on your board, maybe a bypass looper when you want to go clean? ;)

good suggestion. I'll probably swap out the DT-10 for a pitchblack if I want to add 1 more essential pedal to the board. The DT-10 was between the bass attack and the GEB-7 because of the location of the output jack. I want the pedals at the start and the end of the chain to have side jacks. And the pitchblack have the input/output to the sides.

actually, swapping out the huge vxl bass attack may be a better idea - I'm thinking of swapping it out for a aguilar tone hammer - I think it takes up less space that the bass attack.

but for now, i think i'm quite happy with this setup. The Multicomp and the Bass Attack are always on, only the DT-10 and GEB-7 gets turn on and off when necessary, so I think i have no need for a looper...... yet... :)

Could I ask where you bought those patch cables with the flat-head jacks? I've seen them on other boards around here and they seem like a great space saver, but you're the first UK member i've seen with them, and despite hours of internet trawling, I can't find a UK distributor for them (that's assuming they're the Hosa ones).

Cheers, Dave

+1 on the patch cable source request. That is exactly what I'm looking for and had no idea they existed. I thought the lava cables were small.

Also, I saw in Guitar Player that Voodoo Lab has a 5 port pedal power that's supposed to be smaller. No idea how small as there were no pictures, but maybe, just maybe it will fit nicely on the Mini. I'll see if I can find any info in the NAMM threads.
