Just redid my pedalboard again. Basswitch, groove regulator 2, fulltone fat boost 3, 3 leaf pwnzor compressor and my newly traded for tc polytune mini. The mini is really fast, I love it

^ looking good man ;)

+1
Looks great in fact.

So does your super-narrow power-strip, AmpedSilence.

I went for a black power-strip, but it never occurred to me to search out a narrow one though probably futile anyway. [RANT]The goofy oversized plugs used throughout most of the world annoyingly would prevent using such a narrow power-strip – WTFudgsicle were standards people thinking? Why couldn't the world standardise on N. American (small) plug sizes? There is no reason for plugs to be so large as they are elsewhere in the world.[/RANT]

What I really wanted to say was: Thanks for the info on PT warranty gang!
I'm in the middle of moving, will shoot Pedaltrain powers-that-be after the dust settles and hopefully get a new bag. :hyper:

^ I feel ya man! I spray painted that power strip black and had that setup for a while, that is until the PBDDI kicked the Rusty Box off the board! Here is my current set up:

I got the PBDDI rehoused by fellow TBer DannDoublewe and it is fantastic! I am trying out the Behringer Overdrive, hopefuly it'll hold me over until I can order a smallsound/BIGSOUND Team Awesome Fuzz Machine. I was able to try one out and it is so versatile!
The PBDDI covers my light overdrive needs as well as the cleaner tones.
I also realized I didn't need compression as much as I thought I did! I've ended up with a very simple set up but it does what I need!

Sometimes I'm a little jealous of you guys with the newer version of the Mini, without that back "wall." It seems like it definitely makes it easier to work with, but I'm still really happy with mine. :)

It's been forever since I posted and I don't remember the last time I did, so:

WHAT!!!!!! Mono pedaltrain cases? HOLY $%@t *google*

Anyway yes, pedaltrain = life time guarantee, should include bag as well.

They are out now, but no bag for the Mini. :spit:

I've already emailed them requesting they add it to the line. Maybe if they get enough requests they will.

Huh. They look pretty nice, but I like my stock bag and it's holding up pretty well. Of course, I'm anally OCD about treating my gear well though. ;) If I invest in a new case for my Mini, it's going to be a hard case. I've seen some ebay sellers that will make you a case sized/built to your specs, so that'd be the way I'd go.

Have gone back to the Pedaltrain Mini and managed to get everything on (with the Volume pedal being optional)! :)

Might alternate between the Tonehammer and my Agro occasionally depending on the gig, then can fit an extra pedal on next to it.

Also hoping Mono make one of their new cases for the Mini. No reply from them so far.......

Slowly, but steadily I'm moving towards that little thing...
how do you power the pedals on a mini? a voodoo won't fit under the hood, correct? maybe I could put a voodoo right on the mini and still fit the others I want on there.
I had to work on my mini in oder to bring that power supply under it. Now with that "wall", the board is high enough. Not really happy with the zipties fixing solution - but for the moment that works.

One from the front:

One of it's bottom... :smug:

and another one to klick at

It really still fits into the bag. No issues there. However, I have to admit that I tried it after I did the whole job... lucky me  :p

But at the moment I'm still in that stage (which you all know for sure...)

This is what I'm using these days:

The Sansamp is awesome, everything I was looking for in an overdrive/DI. Wasted a lot of time with other pedals! The ODB-3 has surprisingly beat out a lot of other pedals. High end stuff. But, I'm always looking for the best sound out there. I feel like it's more of a Fuzz than overdrive, so I picked up an MXR Bass Fuzz to side-by-side with.

Anyone have any ideas as a similar but better pedal?

Microubes B3K maybe?

Why don't you put that busbar the other way around on that board, the OneSpot wouldn't stick out that much...
But that's a nice board there!

+1 on the microtubes, it is a fantastic, gritty pedal!

odd request: is anyone able to get their tape measure/ruler out and measure the depth/height of the little well at the back of their pedaltrain mini? i want a block of wood that i can glue there in order to raise the back bit up to fit my little team tesla! on.

i'm at work and am likely going to have to sleep here tonight and continue working tomorrow, but a hardware shop is just around the corner! this brainwave only just occured to me today.

Well, I took a shot at measuring. I have the old version with the back "wall," but I measured to the top of the board itself, not the top of the wall. Unless they changed any dimensions other than the height of that wall, should be the same?

Leaving just enough space to make the block fit snug but just barely loose:
15/16"h x 1 7/16"d x 17 15/16"w

If you want to make the block TIGHT:
1"h x 1 1/2"d x 18"w

Keep in mind, these are just eyeball measurements with my measuring tape. ;)

Been a while since I've posted my Mini, but it's been a while since I've changed anything. I've slowly been boiling both of my boards down to what I use, not what might be just for fun. Changes are getting fewer and farther in between!

On the Mini, I just wasn't using my Polytope, so I swapped in my MXR to see if I'll use octave more, which I suspect will be the case. The Polytope is my perfect chorus, but I just don't use chorus. If the MXR gets enough play, I might pick up an Octamizer (which I've wanted for a LONG time) and the MXR will go to the secondary board so I have a killer octaver there too. Plus the Aggie has top jacks, which would look good on my Mini. :D lol

Bass > TU-3 > MXR BOD > Dark Driving or B3K (depending on mood) > Proton > PWNZOR > Tone Hammer -->
