I got this several weeks ago, but didn't know about this thread. I have several more pedals but I don't need all of them for my tropical music gigs, so the PT Mini is perfect for those situations.

Can't wait to post some pics in this thread! PT Mini is currently being shipped to me along with a Tech 21 Sansamp ParaDriver and Mad Prof. Blueberry. Thinking of adding a Nimbus and an Oxide too. So excited...

Tis a Dentone 900-Pound Violin fuzz pedal sir!

Basically a very high-gain, bass heavy, very musical big-muff like pedal. It's very different from the big muff at the same time, I wouldn't call it a copy, more so 'inspired' by a vintage muff. To my ears, it has more mids than any muff I've danced with.

Vincent: That 900-Pound Violin is a neat looking pedal right there! It sounds like it could produce some killer tones too! All you need now then is a Polytune Mini and good luck fiding a small blender lol. I had considered getting one but couldn't seem to find one small enough that didn't cost a good deal of cash

how do you power the pedals on a mini? a voodoo won't fit under the hood, correct? maybe I could put a voodoo right on the mini and still fit the others I want on there.

Yes, I could see that if all pedals were 9v. But I am looking at one 9v plus one 15v where you are supposed to use their adapter. (The Radial Tonebone PZ-Pre, for my upright.) Not sure the 1-Spot works for that.

Hi Chuck,

I, too, have a PZed-pre loaded on a PT-Mini for my upright. I'm still using my 15vDC center-pole-positive wall-wart on a black extension cable that I chuck in with my PT-Mini in its bag. There aren't many power supplies that dole out the juice for the Radial Tonebone series of pedals. Check out Cioks, which Radial recommends on its website. The CioksInvalid Link Removed would be my recommendation, but the [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] or Invalid Link Removed may better suit your needs.

These Cioks power supplies may be overkill for a PT-Mini, but the other smaller Cioks don't have the necessary 15v capability.

Another possible option may be, though I'm not sure if it's compatible, is [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] – and a tad pricey. Well, I suppose the Cioks is tres cher aussi.

I've not found any power supply other than Cioks and (maybe) Gig Rig that'll do the job. If somebody knows of another power supply for Radial Tonebone series pedals, please post!

I need to post in here as well, since its where I got inspired:

The Rusty Box needs from 18v - 40v to operate properly and the supplied ac adapter is 30v. all the pedals I had at the time were 9v. I powered those with a one spot and got the narrowest power extention board I could find at walmart.

I run a much simpler set up, but it can be done! I believe some have moded their PT Mini boards to fit a Trex fuel tank Jr under the board, if Isolated power is what you seek...

On my last gig, my PT-Mini gig bag ripped. It's less than a year old, and only been gigged at most a dozen times. It wasn't overloaded with pedals, that's for sure: PZed-Pre, PitchBlack, Boss Chorus, Three instrument cables, wal-wart for the Radial and an extension cord.

It shouldn't have ripped. Is this gig bag a ripoff? Should I just hit the bar for whiskey & beer and get ripped. Should I hit the gym and get ripped?

Anybody else have similar tales of woe?

Any chance of warranty?

I'd call or email pedaltrain. Ive had great customer service from them. Or you could wait until mono releases their pedalboard cases. Or are they out now? Do they even make one to fit a mini? I dunno
