Depending on the wireless and if you feel like going into a little DIY, you could mount it under the board. A L6 G30 or G50 could probably fit fairly easily. I've thought about putting my G50 under the Mini quite a bit.

I'm guessing most people around here have said this before and will laugh at me for saying it now, but I have NO plans to go that big. But ... I've been wrong before.

I've seen threads from people who've put G30's under their boards, even Mini's, but I don't recall seeing people put G50's under a Mini. I'll have to do some surfing when I get home from work tonight to see if I can find people who did that. Actually, I do have a G50, it's one of the other pedals I bought that isn't on the board right now. I love using it and being able to move around that freely, but I was getting more real use use out of the other pedals so that one is currently with the other "maybe" pedals. It seemed more of a decadent luxury than something I REALLY needed. Not that I have any plans to sell it. :D

One thing I can't do is compare it to other chorus pedals. I mentioned in a previous post that I'm just starting to acquire some pedals, and I am trying (not very successfully) to keep my collection small enough to fit on the PT Mini I bought specifically to limit my collection. This is my first and so far only chorus pedal and there were two reasons I bought it. First, I was looking for something that would help fill out my sound while the two guitarists in my band do harmony solos (I play in a southern rock band, so there are lots of opportunity for me to do something like that). I was really thinking of a different kind of pedal for that, such as a Pitch Fork, a Pitch Bay, and the T-Rex Quint Machine. Obviously I'm trying out the Quint right now. However, when I saw this CE-5 at a ridiculously low price in the For Sale Forum, I decided to give it a try. At the price I paid, it was worth it just to buy it and see if it would give me an alternate sound but still accomplish what I was going for. IOW a little variation.

So my goal was to be able to do something subtle to help fill in some space rather than to produce an obvious chorus-y tone and this does a nice job of that. I also find the two band tone control to be a nice feature also - it has a concentric bass and a treble cut knob. I have also played around just to see what else it can do and you can get a wide range of tones out of it. If you want that lush, really thick 80's kind of of chorus it's definitely in there and with the rate turned up high and the depth in the middle you can get a Leslie speaker kind of sound. But I tend to keep the effect more subtle and that seems to work for me. I'm not much of a guitar player and these days I rarely break out my Strat, but I'd bet this pedal would sound great teamed up with a guitar.

Also, since I'm just starting a pedal collection and am still learning to learn how to use what I have, I haven't yet taken it out to use with the band. For now, I'm experimenting and learning at home to figure out which seem to work for me as well as how to use them effectively. Then, once I have an idea of how I want them set and at which points in which songs I'm going to use them, then I'll start bringing the board out.

I would if I had bothered to take any pictures at the time, sorry buddy.

I've since removed my Boss CE-5 to make room for the G30 receiver. I wasn't feeling comfortable with it as I travel around a lot with my Pedaltrain Mini and the receiver doesn't seem like it could take an awkward hit should that ever happen. Besides, the CE-5 wasn't the most essential pedal ever, as nice as it is. Hopefully I'll be able to use it again when I upgrade to the Classic Jr when that hits the market.

Just finished mine!

Someday I'll want to replace the Pitchblack with a Line6 G70 wireless / tuner, but I'm going to wait for the gigs to pick up a bit more before doing that.

I picked up a shure glxd back in March or April. It includes a great tuner and has worked flawlessly for me. Powering with the same single 1 spot the rest of my mini runs on. The rechargeable transmitter pack is awesome. I can charge with the cigarette lighter in my car on the way to the gig if I forget to charge it before hand. A full charge last like 16 hours and the transmitter and receiver talk both ways so when your done with your set and you turn off the receiver the transmitter automatically powers itself off.
