The entire Great Misdirect album by Between the Buried and Me, the arrangement skills and sheer talent of the band is incredible. It's one of those albums that you listen to all the way through. Excellent.

Just recalled another example of "sonic perfection" to me: The intro section (first two minutes, 28 seconds) of Pink Floyd's "Time" as recorded on "The Dark Side Of The Moon". It's, in my opinion, one of those things that nobody ever will be able to replicate again the way it was captured on that record (not even its creators).
