I hate when someone paints an instrument that looks good on a stand and then looks sideways when it's played. The pickup cover looks backwards.

thats is surreal! the insulation tape im not sure on but the hardware i like!

if i keep my current bass im def mucking bout with some ideas? but probs gonna get a highway 1 fender jazz bass so i may hold back slightly but will still have something put on it the thread gives me v.cool ideas!

Yeah, the tape is off now anyway, it was a temp thing. The in spirit has being there for about 2 years though now, lol. The masking tapes getting a bit worse for wear.

The animal heads were from an Australian Geographic shop (like national geographic) and had little suction cups on them. The the back/suction cup off them and they fit over the knobs perfectly, lol.

What constitutes better?
Technically, that is MY first* bass. I have had it for just about 10 years. The DFL sticker has been on there the longest.

* (the first bass that wasn't a hand-me-down).
