There was a big thread on phasers late last year with many sound examples, I too posted a couple of sound bites of different phasers if you want to listen.I plugged into a boss phase shifter and really liked what the pedal could do. What is the TB community using for phase shifters?
The INFANEM Faye Sing is one of my favorites. There is a new revision that has just been released…SO MUCH WANT.
I just love phasers though…Boss PH-2 & PH-3 are fun. The Whetstone from Blackout effectors is nice. The Pigtronix EP-2 is cool and unique, plus there is a new custom version at Nova Music that has me going HMMMM.
A classic not mentioned in this thread is the Moog MF-3. It is a very versatile Phaser, it can do classic to whacky Wooshing. It just plain sounds GOOD. I am probably going to pick one of these up (AGAIN!!!) because CV ins and outs mean a lot to me these days.
The Earthquaker Grand Orbiter is a pretty great phaser. I love the it sits in the mix without any volume drop or bump.
