Does any one know what string are on it? I heard someone say tape wounds on another thread but I can't confirm it. He used the Ritter strings on the " eye of Horus " sword steel I think they were. ?????

Looks like master vol, blend then 5 stacked knobs. I'm struggling to come up for a use for 10 pots, but Phil Lesh is no stranger to knobs...

I love Jens Ritter's take on things, he definitely does not have the Fender clone ad nauseum bug.
I had never been a Grateful Dead fan, so it came as a surprise to me that Phil used these high end instruments. I just assumed that, my erroneously preconceived notion of the Dead being a hippie jam band, that he would use Fenders and the like. Once I started to listen to them, however, I quickly started to appreciate Phil and his playing.
