Love the new bass Phil! Come to upstate NY this summer! Please! Anyway, his old 70's Guild had knobs that would separate each string in the PA mix. So for example, he could have the E string on the left of the house, and the G String in the mix at the right of the house, and all kinds of crazy combinations of such mayhem.

This bass is pretty much as far from what I like as it gets... whilst I appreciate the work gone into it.
