Phone call to Ibanez - facepalm

I just got off the phone with a guy at Ibanez after google-searching the number because it is not listed on their website. I was asking if they had a technical drawing of an ATK 300 bass, specifically the truss rod and route for the rod. I have recently acquired an ATK with a stripped truss rod, and I was trying to determine if their was any way to fix it without removing the fretboard (is the rod screwed into the anchor or welded, etc). After asking for the info and explaining why I wanted it, we had this exchange (paraphrased from memory):

Ibanez Rep: We don't have anything like that but I don't understand why you would need it.

me: Well I just want to know the size and shape of the rod and the anchor and the route that it all sits in.

I R: Size and shape?

me: Yes

I R: It doesn't have any.

me: The truss rod has no size or shape?

I R: Right, it's just a rod.

me: A rod with no size and shape?

I R: Yes

At this point I knew he could be of no help, but I couldn't get off of the phone because I was speechless.
