Photoshop requests??

Shoot...I'm not sure. Glad you asked. I'm looking at photo's online and even the brown looks a bit red.
I have a vintage 1961 fender Jazzmaster (pic attached) that I'm trying to emulate colorwise.
What color would you say its pickgaurd is?Edit: Looking at the pickgaurd material on Link Removed it looks like it is brown.

I can photoshop as well, but why fish for you guys? I figured these requests could be endless, and some of us make our livings using photoshop. So here's part 1:

I have a few.
This in 3T sunburst, chrome hardware, and fretless. Badass II and natural headstock.
A Precision. Purple/red sparkle, j in the precision spot, p in the bridge pos, kahler tremolo. Fretless, chrome pg.
And my last one is a boner pbass in tobacco burst with the roscoe beck pup in the bridge pos. Black pg, badass II. Maple fb
I have Gimp but am still figuring it out, so I might be doing mockups in a bit.

That's why I made that tutorial instead. If you don't think it's important enough to learn how to do, it's not important enough for me to do it for you.
...not that i'm encouraging steeling (if you even call it that, because how can you be steeling something you were'nt ever going to buy anyways)... but:

Edit: For those of us who really wouldn't advocate obtaining a copy of the program, there's the aforementioned free alternative, or there's the potential for actually paying us to do this. I'd knock out a custom bass for anything between $5 and $20... but I'd imagine that would bring these requests down to ZERO. It's fun to do once or twice, but when people get pushy...

This is awesome! Thanks for sharing this! I can't wait to give it a detailed go around later!
I certainly appreciate the effort that you photoshop gurus have put forth (big thanks woo10)! I love seeing all the different ideas and whatnot, but is sure doesn't help my GAS, at least not in a good way...
It is a shame to see folks expecting you to do this....:scowl:
Maybe we need a section dedicated to photoshop/graphic type work (if we don't already have one) and requests, where the requester and the guru and work out terms for the work over PM (ie $$$). I certainly think it is reasonable to charge for this service.
