Personally, I think Subie peaked in '04-'05 with this version, though the '01-'03 "turtle-eye" has its charm. The '06 update by Alfa-Romeo's former design team lead was a huge mistake for Subaru, and the '08 update went too "family sedan" even on the STi. They brought some styling attitude back in 2011, but by then Fuji was really struggling with ever-tougher mileage/emissions standards.

I had a 1999 Porsche C4. Great car as one could imagine. When the lease was up I replaced it with a 2003 Mini Cooper S. The Mini was 9/10ths of the fun at 1/3 of the cost of the Porsche.

It's a Morris Minor. They were common in Britain in the 1950s.
