I used to see one every weekend in the summer when I was a kid. Someone owned one of these and brought it to Mentor Headlands Beach all the time.
I'm pretty much out of the loop when it comes to Euro super cars.

1967 Jaguar E Type. I bought one of these from an Army Captain in 1971. The one I bought was gold and came with a fiberglass hard top. I think it was the European version with lenses over the headlights.
I drove it for about a year and a half then realized I had to sell it. It was expensive to run and I couldn't carry band equipment in it. Sold it for what I paid for it and bought a van. It was a great car while it lasted and loads of fun to drive.

1968 Dodge Dart Super Stock and it's modern day relative 2021 Dodge Mopar Drag Pak.
Although the newer Drag Pak could probably run circles around the 68, there's something about the brute force and ignorance of the 68 that makes is so much more attractive to me.

Yeah, the 2021 is probably the better performer, but I can almost smell the '68 burning rubber, and it's standing still!
