For now, I have a 3 bass arsenal, that covers pretty much everything I need:

1. Fender American Deluxe Jazz 4
2. Fender American Deluxe Precision 5
3. Fender MIJ Jazz Fretless 4

Not too much that can't be done with those three, for me anyway.

Edit: That lasted a long time. All 3 of the above have since been sold.
