Pickguard color for orange bass?

I'd go with a black pickgaurd and dye the rosewood fretboard black to match

Blue is the complimentary (opposite) colour to orange . A light to medium blue pickguard might look good .

What looks good on an orange bass? Most pics ive found seem to have tortoiseguards.

Suggestions?

Make a big fashion statement with clashing colors and put a green pickguard on the orange bass.

I have a nicely aged white guard on my Capri Orange P, that is just turned the right shade of slightly off white/ cream. Better than stark white.

So my vote is for cream or parchment, white or aged white pearl, or yellow.

I cant remember who's bass that I see around here..(a lakland maybe?..)orange (with grain showing) with tort gaurd.. friggin beautiful..

though upon further review of the pics shown..black/white..they all look good,.really depends on the orange 1st..
