I came up with mine a few years ago, around the advent of websites which ask for a username and password. I was looking to come up with something original that I could use for all of them.
I didn't consciously use anything specific to come up with it, but after I did, I realized that one of my old favorite death metal bands, Bolt Thrower, had a song called World Eater. Anyway, the spelling is unique.

I'm allergic to shellfish, and back when I was a full-time gamer (still kinda am) I needed a unique handle.

I went with KingCrab, because irony. It was taken, so I just changed it to this messed-up spelling and it kinda stuck.

Before that, it was WetNoodle. You can tell I have a appreciation for the lame.

I bought on old house and completely gutted it, back to framing and brick. The house is on Duke St. My buddy would bring his 4 year old over to play outside while were renovating. this little guy would ask when he could go to my clean house. So, we started calling it the duke street house dirty duke.

Even had t shirts made that said dirty duke crew, blood sweat and beers.

Hence, dirty duke
