Well friends, we ended up picking up a used Washburn RB2600, I know it's a six-string bass, but we payed 400 euros for it, the sound is great (compared to that Aria Pro II), very solid, for the price we're very pleased with it, now our bass player needs to get used to the six-string (a good excuse to practice more - eh eh eh)
