Please Help? - Pantera's "The Suicide Note" Part 1 + 2

Hi guys!

I tried the search function, I tried google, tried listening, and I just can't seem to land it! >.< So I humbly come to my fellow TB'ers for advice.

My band has a gig at Meyer Waterfront Ampitheatre in the not-too-distant future and wanted to throw in a couple covers in the set to mix things up/fill time/etc.

Being the huge Pantera fans we are, the guys decided to cover "The Suicide Note" (Parts 1 and 2). I thought it was a great idea, so we all set out to try to learn the song so we can get to rehearsing it as soon as possible.

Well, I listened to the song, listened, and listened some more... And I just can't seem to catch the bass line (Particularly for Part 1 more than Part 2, but I can't find either in tablature) I sincerely started to doubt that Rex even plays in Part 1, but many insist he does.

Could anyone offer any wisdom, please?

Thank you Kindly!

Sounds like keyboards to me. I'd just get the chords from the guitar player and make stuff up.

I was never a huge fan of that album. Sounds like AxCx to me. Which is fine - I was good friends with Seth - it's just..... too much!
