Not that I trust Google AI, but here's what it has to say:
  • No, Rickenbacker has not used rectangular block inlays on the 4003 bass. The 4003, and its predecessor the 4001, typically feature triangle or shark fin style inlays on the fingerboard, not rectangular blocks. The 4003 is known for its distinctive maple body and neck, and its unique sound characterized by a "toppy growl"

The neck heel doesn't look right at all. Nor the headstock, nut, placement of the truss rod cover.

Cool tribute style bass. If it sounds good and the price is right.... But no, not a legit Rick.
Yeah just replace the counterfeit logo with one that says "Rickenfacker" and you're good to go!! :woot:

A LOT of work to create something that is strongly evocative at best, and is worth... not a lot, and something I would avoid like the plague unless I had it in my hands to try it first before I forked over any of those "not a lot" dollars.

Avoid.
