Here’s my feedback. Before you start a thread, figure out specifically what you seek to achieve, and make your goals blatantly obvious to anyone who might read your thread.
No apology necessary. You will find a plethora of good advice mixed in with awkward opinions on Talkbass. I was just trying to gently let you know that I had no idea what your post was about. It’s a cool sound for sure.
It’s also totally acceptable to simply share things that you enjoy, that’s a worthy endeavor on talkbass, but it seems like you were asking for something.
It is an interesting textural sound, I don't know what you used but I can think of several ways to create the sound with pedals I have.
EHX BassMicroSynth has the clean, distorted and octave up as well as the filter effects.
SA Spectrum or C4 same as above
Individual pedals:mix pedal for wet /dry, fuzz > envelop follower > pitch shifter
Boss LS2 > Austone FuzzNutz > Mooer Sweeper > TRex Quint Machine

Im using Ls 2 with chain A having future impact into a human gear animato. Chain b having black russian big muff. Both mix blend. The tone i used for the future impact was a custom patch i made.
I am also confused. You recorded yourself, presumably having set up the effects, and now you are asking us to review your tone and guess what effects you are using? I can understand asking others their opinion about your tone, but why ask others to guess how you achieved it?

That makes much more sense. I didn't realize that there was a song that he was trying to replicate. That helps a lot in regards to the context of the original post.
The OP already answered their own question in post #9, and doesn’t seem to be looking for any constructivism. Close the thread?
