I guess can play? No real smooth Harmony?
I can understand you not liking wooten, cos heck, sometimes I can't listen to his stuff, but the above two statements are probably the biggest travesties ever mentioned in talkbass.
The man's technique is top-notch, one of the greatest in the world. And his uncanny sense of melody, harmony and just music itself is unbelievable.
Just because the music doesn't do it doesn't mean you should diss the player.
Oh, and in my opinion, John Paul Jones is the greatest rock bassist of all time. But that's just an opinion, and see, I don't need to immaturely start putting down other players with no clue whatsoever of what i am speaking about.
