Political Compass Test.....Cool!

Interesting results, I was -3, -3 which is in the same quarter as almost everyone here

From what I read, almost everyone here are liberal - less or more. And large part of us stand towards left. Is it something in playing music that makes it so?

Some of the questions were definitely leading, and on a few of them I neither agreed nor disagreed, but, there was no option for this.

In any case, I came out near Stalin.

The rest of you...up against the wall and put on your blindfolds! :p

Thats exactly how I was...I didn't want to put a "yes" or a "no" on some of those....I was in the middle on the subject.

I too came out nearest Stalin - 3 left and 2 up. I was actually pretty close to dead center of all of them, but maybe a little bit further left than actual center.

I started this thread 4 1/2 years ago. It would be interesting to see where some of today's active posters lie.
I'm "Economic Left/Right: -3.00 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.74" about where I expected to be.

One question they asked....
A genuine free market requires restrictions on the ability of predator multinationals to create monopolies.
This quesiton is nonsensical. A "geniune free market" has no restrictions by definition. I didn't know how to answer this oxymoronic question.

You are slightly republican?

See, I'm more middle than you think. It's just that, in today's political climate, that makes me seem more conservative than I really am.

The "middle" has skewed way left these days. I believe in traditional values and individual responsibility. I guess that makes me a fascist, nowadays.
