[Poll] Ken Smith Black Tiger vs White Tiger? Which do you prefer?

As title says. It'd be nice to get feedback from people who have used either, or even better - BOTH! Please share your experiences with them and reasons why you prefer one to the other. Thanks.

To be perfectly honest, I'd love to own both a White Tiger and Black Tiger. They occupy 2 spaces of my wishlist. If I need to choose, I might go with White Tiger as they seem to be less common. Never played an actual Ken Smith at all (although I own a KSD Burner Deluxe 6).

@Swalexbass - I don't know if it is possible, but you should edit your poll to include "Both" as an option.

Good idea! I should include both as an option I have a White Tiger incoming and can't wait to try it out... But I was hesitant between the two prior to buying.

Yeah It will leave the States most likely today or tomorrow. And Australian customs is a real nuisance, so will be maybe next week or next next week even

Same deal in Canada. Even when it arrives it could sit in customs for a week before someone inspects and approves it.

Yeah Canada is similar to Australia in many ways I actually have a Fodera Monarch 5 being held in the customs as well atm, so it doubles my pain haha...

I love the black tiger I’ve played never played a white. Owned a GN that was more like a black tiger too. But I think it would seem to be a very narrow tonal difference.

It's only cosmetics. Wood wise, most of the tone comes from the neck-through section which is the same on both models. Both have Walnut and Tiger Maple in the wings, about 50% each (core is about top+back).
I've had w/m/w 5, m/w/m 5, m/w/m/w/m 6 and now own a 4WT m/w/m. Every bass sounds a bit different but nothing that differ walnut from maple. All play and sound like a dream.

You need to mate two black tigers that carry the white tiger recessive gene if you want a white tiger, so yes, black tigers are more prevalent.

I voted white tiger because I’ve seen more pictures of them with sexy wood grain (flame, quilted)
