MB SD800 & Aggie GS410 for bigger gigs. cab soon to be replaced by Bergie AE410 or maybemaybe a Epifani UL2-610. also using Aggie 2xGS112 for smaller gigs. considering picking up a LMII topair with one of the gs112's for the very small gigs (as the sd800 kinda pounds the gs112's pretty hard)

Well, since I first posted on this thread - almost 20 months ago..... my set up has changed!

Gone is the Trace Elliot rig I once had!

In has come Ashdown - ABM 500 EVOII head, Mini48 and Mini15 cabinets!

Geeze...talk about resurrecting an old thread......

Well, anyway, still the Ashdown rig for my main rig...and an Electric Blue 130 as my practise amp!!! Added a Boss GT-6B up front as well and an AKG wireless setup to help me avoid tripping over cables......

But the Ashdown still does it and how....:bassist:

I have an Ampeg SVP-Pro that I run into a Peavey Classic 50/50 tube power amp, brided into a Peavalator 1516 1-15x2-8 cab. In the effects loop, I run an Alesis compressor and a *cough*cough* Behringer something-izer pro that I use only for a touch of chorus or flange while playing fretless.

Practice amp- little Behringer combo Ultrabass 1200 or somesuch overly glorified name. Sounds nasty unless you hate punch and clarity. Poweramp and speaker are ok in it, so I plug straight in to the back or use a BDI 21 (also Behringer) Sansamp copy for a pre. It ain't no Ampeg, but it sounds great for $30.
