Wow, this was out of date! Here's the current arrangement:

Main Rig -

• (In a rack case)
• SansAmp RBI preamp
• Power conditioner
• Korg DTR-2 tuner (not running my signal through it)
• Nady CL-5000 two channel compressor (soon to be switched out for a mono Symetrix CL-150)

• (In a rack bag)
• Carvin DCM-1000 power amp

• (Under the above)
• A pair of Bag End S15-D cabs

Practice space rig -

• G-K 400RB
• Peavey 1516 cab (2x8 + 1x15)

I'll probably be adding a small 10" practice combo for use with my ABG on acoustic nights.

Back up rig - SWR Triad with a Nemesis NA 600 head.

Peavey Firebass II w/ an Ampeg SVT 610HLF & a single 15' E-V. Other amps include an early 70's Ampeg V4B & a 66 Traynor Bassmaster.

2 EA 208 cabinets powered by a Sunn 1200 S head, with a Dod 31 band graphic.

Also have a older Yorkville Bloc 80 for practices and small piano bar gigs.

Am seriously looking into replacing the Sunn rig because of weight with an EA iAmp 600.

For home practice and small quiet church gigs, Fender Bassman 25.

Main church amp, SWR Basic Black combo.

Main gig amp, Eden Metro combo.

Practice shed, Peavey TNT130 combo. Almost 20 years old, still loud, and too darned heavy!

Marching band field rig: Fender BassMan 200 with a Yorkville MP8 PA head feeding a Peavey 3 way cab.
Jazz Band/Concert Band/Pit rig:
Fender BassMan 200
Garage band rig: Fender BassMan 200 w/a effects return to BXR 15 depending on where when and how loud.
Bed room rig: either or all of the above w/exception to the peavey.

contrary to all the wattage wars. I have never had a problem in a club yet, as long as the sound guy knows his stuff... You should be able to talk on stage in my mind... but the crowd sure feels it... Oh yeah and my band is hard rock..

I'll soon be playing through an Eden CXC-300 combo with 2 10" drivers and coaxial tweeter. If I could afford it, I would rather go with the Metro combo, but this will work just fine.

My old rig: Peavey TNT 130.

My new rig: Carvin Pro Bass 15 preamp, QSC RMX 1850HD power amp, pair of Acme Low B-2 cabs (the cabs are on order).

The new rig will be a little easier to haul around (not that the RMX is a lightweight!) and can double as a small PA in a pinch.
