I hereby promise to purchase a supporting membership if Poop is unbannned (at least $30 worth).

Or, um... I guess I'd settle for a detailed story ($10 or something, no more than $20).

A polite PM may get you an answer, but I do not believe the moderators are under any obligation to divulge exact details of why someone was banned.

nope, we're not.

it depends how nicely you ask though.

i usually don't divulge anything to anyone besides the offender (unless it involved the curious party), mainly for the reason that it's none of anyone else's business.

and also, for the fact that unless it is a perma ban, the person will be coming back, so i don't want to violate that person's trust by talking about their offense to other people.

long story short, ask Poopy if you want to know, not the mod.

I think you can read threads if you don't log in, so my message to Poop is:

I miss you and I like how you speak your mind. But if you don't learn some tact and get your act together and stop making the mods and other TBers mad, I will personally drive over to where you live and whack you upside the head with my Warwick. And I might have to stand in line for my turn.

I thought he was quite entertaining. Wow I just realised that we are all sitting around like it's poop's funeral saying "he was great, etc." Not that I mean to offend, I just observed this and found an odd bit of humor to it.

You nailed it. The kid is, what 20 or something? He's a very opinionated person who thinks he knows quite a bit. I'm 36 and still don't know a fraction of what I should. I respect his opinion, but the kid needs to learn a bit of tact.

My suspicion is that he didn't adhere to the fact that this is a family-friendly forum and I've also noticed that there have been a few posts recently where some have used profanity. The mods have definitely got their hands full.
