For sale local to me...tempted. Don't NEED it, for sure, but I've heard good things about this brand as far as bang-for-the-buck and all that goes...$120 Canadian...

I have the matte black one.

Objectively, a nice instrument.

I've seen HB's with wonky necks and high frets. generally, if you can grind a fret or two (or all of them if needed), adjust the neck and stings how you like, you can get them to feel great.

I bought mine planning on swapping pickups, but the stock one was so good I left it.

There are definitely some videos some time ago on my IG where I used it.

at $120 I'd def get it, just make sure there's nothing you can't fix going on with that neck - which is true of just about any budget-friendly item made from wood.

I have the 5 string version of this bass;
same scenario, I saw it online used for 70€, didn't need it, but I couldn't let it go.
Overall good bass, definitely giggable with a good set-up. The frets were ok.
The passive pickup is very good in it's category, it's a splittable humbucker ( volume, volume, tone).
Get it and have fun with it.

I got the satin black one when it came up in the Bass the World video during the height of covid.

It was stuck in customs for like 2 months but it was worth the wait. I liked it so much I ended up buying the real deal (Stingray Special 5H) after gigging and playing it so much.

It will need some shielding if it hasn't been shielded yet. The control cavity is barebones. Other than that, it should serve well.

Neck is a bit on the thicker side (for the 5 string version anyway) if you're used to Jazz bass like necks but very playable.

Out of my current roster of basses, the one that by far sees the most playing time is my Jackson David Ellefson Kellybird 5-string, the neck of which has a 12" - 16" compound radius, and what I'd consider a flat D profile. The neck on that bass has almost spoiled me for anything else, which is always a consideration for me now when looking at another bass.

Radius is 350 mm and it is a very flat D profile from memory.

A friend of mine has one of these. It's so much better than it has any right to be for the price it costs. Baseball bat neck as I remember it, good to know in case you don't like that (I can see the seller writes it isn't, they may have changed the specs since my friends example was made). Good mod platform, but you may need to do some routing in order to fit a preamp and battery.

Listing is gone. No biggie. I really don't need to be spending money on another bass right now, even a deal like that one was. I already have another piece of used gear in the pipeline for early March anyways.

EDIT: If anyone knows about synths, and would like to weigh in on this:
