I recently bought a cheap shadow SH-SB1 bass pickup so I could get into playing double bass with a drummer! Anyways, I also purchased the Behringer ADI-21 as a cheap preamp/EQ. However, if I play hard, I get a horrible popping noise on impact. Is this being caused by overloading the pedal, or impedence matching, or something different? It doesn't do it when I disable the EQ function, and just use it as a DI box.
