What is a pasta head? I have some idea. Maybe a registered member, or a pasta afficionado? or...
i was once at the mall a few years back and i saw some kid who looked to be around 14, walk out of hot topic with his mom.
they walked out of hot topic. he was wearing skate shoes, hot topic pants with tons of zippers and chains, black nails, more braclets than every girl in my middle school combines, a good charlotte t-shirt, and lastly, an anarchy beanie.
that my friends, is a poseur.

See me and my friends used to hang out at the mall and sit at the food court outside of H0t Topic and make fun of the Hot tpoic kids. We were losers for being there in the first place, they were posers for insisting the mall culture was cool. I guess we were all mall scum once (unless you're classy).

when you're as old as I,, or even grew up where I did,, there were no malls to be part of..
malt shops.. now that's another story...
our very first mall was a grocery store (Loblaws) with a bowling alley tacked at the end... (I guess it's some kinda sub-culture though, wearing them uber-cool bowling shoes, that've been worn by thousands of others... yeah...)..
I honestly don't see how shopping at Hot Topic makes you a poser. I'm pretty sure it just makes you someone who likes to shop at Hot Topic.

it was just quite obvious he was just trying to fit into a bunch of differe t cliques by what he was wearing.
what 14 yr old kid can honestly say they have a firm enough grasp on the ups, downs and inbetweens of anarchy to be able to fully support it and wear it on clothing, along with many other pieces that just help boost corporate america.

So unless you've done a dissertation on anarchy, you're not allowed to wear black? What if he was doing because thats the way he wanted to dress?
He was probably doing it because it is the way that he expressed himself. I'm sure he didn't walk into the store wearing his school uniform. There was probably a progression to the style of clothes he was wearing. He may not of understood everything about the culture, but at least he's showing support for something he likes.

Well obviously. My point was that he didn't really understand what he was supporting. If I didn't know what the swastika represented this in this era, but walkked down the street wearing a swastika on my shirt, i'm not sure how far the "i just like the design" approach will go.
a true anarchist would fight each of those things. supervision should be obvious but he would fight the ride and money because he wouldn't want to be dependant on an authority figure.
