Post basses with artwork on them!

The 'ZZ Top' Bud Bass from the early 80's. This is one of the 'promotional version basses' that was used as a corporate promotion during that Budweiser sponsored tour. I've had it on the wall for 20 years :D

The trashcan P-Bass

My music department was throwing this away, so i took it and painted it with a Piet Mondrian inspired paintjob. I think its #84

I defretted the rosewood neck, but then decided i wanted a fretted P, so i got the maple mightymite. i plan on painting the headstock to match someday, but i haven't gotten around to it yet.

No that's really fine work and yes sooo Mondrian. Nice bass.

No offense to the artist or the inspiration, but all I can think of when looking at it, is the Partridge family. And I can imagine Danny Bonaduce playing it. :D
