Post pics of great looking basses

It's not as fancy as many posted here, but my tastes do run towards the minimalist-end-of-things. That being said, here's My Sexy Beast, the one that pushed me into buying my first bass.

Squier Standard P-Bass Special: Satin Pewter edition with matching headstock.

It's a love affair! :bassist:

Here's my '76 P that I saved from a life buried in the back of someone's closet. It was covered in funk and grime and had a BAII bridge on it. I restored her to her former glory, put a '62 Original RI pup in her, a 60's style bridge and scored some original covers and an original case. Now she's legit!

Forget about those custom flashy more than 4 stringers.... :hiding:
Nice and simple 4 string precisions and thunderbirds look more then mighty fine to me:bassist:

Wow!! Parker, that is a gorgeous bass man!!! I have a newer one that's trying its hardest to be half as cool as that one. (partially pictured below)
Beautiful....

Here's a contender i picked up recently, an Airline Map Bass by Eastwood guitars. A great little short scale ride, love it.
Got a bunch of comments after playing it at our last show, all the bass players came out of the woodwork.

Oops! Forget to mention what this bass is. It's a custom 5 string fretless made by Abe Rivera in I believe 1987 (might've been '88, I can't remember exactly). Unbelievable craftsmanship, right down to the hand carved knobs. There's even a heart carved into the back of the headstock with "Paz y amor" engraved above it.

This one is awesome! Would buy it for it's looks alone. I love the finish!
