I was outside in front of my office and out of nowhere a blue parakeet lands on my shoulder. Ok...what do I do with it now? So I took home. Oh, I stopped by the pet store on the way home to buy a cage and food which lightened my wallet by about $100. Turns out the bird was fun and pretty smart too. He only lasted about three or four years. They tented the home for termites next door and when I came home he was dead on the bottom of his cage.
