I lost my 14.5 year old Catahoula on the 4th 
We are all coping, but his brother Lavitz (Dane / Ridgeback mix) has been extra clingy. Here are a few shots of him from the last week.

Sorry to hear that. Dogs are pack animals, and miss their family just as humans do. Our neighbors had a pot bellied pig, and he and my dogs used to pal around the yard. Our neighbors down the street hate when we get power outages, because their once their dogs figure it out, they come over to play.
We owned a boxer/ridgeback mix. Best dog we ever had, still miss him. Yours looks a lot like him, but Cap wasn't as long in the body or face Sorry for the loss of your other one - 14.5's a pretty good age.
Here is Angus a couple years ago... this was taken on his 12th birthday (with Bitey his cat). He had a good run!

Yeah, He's a Pekingese, he acts like a cat sometimes. My wife spoils him ... as do I.

Can't remember. I'd say a moist air pocket, but then they'd both be yapping at it. And they usually see those at 3 in the morning.
This is Abner. He is very jealous and can hear a cat being petted from 30 feet away.

They are total sweethearts! I wouldn't want to be someone if they tried breaking in to my house though. Like anything that's potentially dangerous, they have to be controlled in a responsible manner. Like any other living thing, they need to be treated with love. Mine are the best dogs ever.
