Distant Perspectives of Downtown Fort Worth (Funky Town)

Facing west across the Trinity River West Fork from Riverside Park near home:

Facing Southwest from our backyard side window - the rear fence line begins to separate as it goes down the hill and turns into one of the many steep ravines that cut down the bluff from the neighborhood:

Facing South from the Northside TEXRail station as the train heads toward its final stop downtown from DFW Airport:

Fort Worth's Paddock Viaduct over the Trinity River West Fork, also known as the Main St Bridge, that connects downtown to Northside and the Stock Yards. Built in 1914, it was the first reinforced concrete arch in the nation to use self-supporting, reinforcing steel.

Some holiday pics from 10 years ago (2016) when we stayed at a beautiful town in Victoria, Australia called Halls Gap.
We hired a cabin in the local caravan park (trailer park) for a week. We were constantly visited by kangaroos, emus, wallabies and all sorts of bird life...a great holiday with the locals.

The ever present Kookaburra

A Tasmanian Devil in the local Halls Gap zoo.

What happens to the oldest member of the cockatoo family when he's sick or not wanted anymore. The flock gang up on him and drive him out.
He got fed more apple from us than any of the others.
