do i spy a wmd gieger counter

cos if so i was wondering what it sounds like on bass and how much they are

and im in love with all the moogs

i think im gonna rob your house

And.... one last change! :p

I recently put my Visual Volume off-board & added the Xotic X-Blender w/ Fulltone Bass-Drive Mosfet in it's loop. That has now dethroned my Xotic BB (I'm keeping the BB, but I'm definitely preferring the Bass-Drive + X-Blender combo).

I've been A/B'ing this shiny, new Octamizer w/ my MXR Bass Octave Deluxe & well..... the Octamizer has won! I think I'm keeping the MXR, but the Aguilar is my go-to octave now!

I've got a Fulltone Choralflange in my 'aux' loop right now, but I also have other options (Boss ODB-3, DD-5, EHX Nano Small Stone, LPB-1, Bass Big Muff, Fender Sub-Lime Bass Fuzz, Xotic BB). Then, theres' the MURFBoard that also gets used (with a Moog BassMURF w/ expression pedals and tap tempo, a great AboveGroundFX Reverb + both in their own true bypass loop...).

I thought the ODB-3 had a blend function built in:confused:

What is the purpose of the LS-2?

I had to answer this question several times now... ;)

I think the so called Blend Knob in the ODB does not work good in any way... The ODB kills the Character of any bass you put into...
If I am using my LS-2 for mixing my sound has far more low bottom and the character of the bass still cuts through the mix...
Without the LS-2 the ODB-3 would definitive ended up in my thrash can ;)
The way I use it at the moment it is very useful for the Muse covers in my band and when my guitarist jumps into another solo...
But I'm not soooo happy with the whole situation... So I'm going to order a Bass Big Muff this month... :hyper:

I don't have any pictures of my board lately; I swear it changes every week. Right now, I have it set up as follows:

EHX Micro POG, dry out to amplifier, and wet out to Ibanez Weeping Demon Wah pedal, to an Ibanez PD-7, to DigiTech Grunge distortion, to Tech 21 SansAmp PBDDI pre-amp to Ibanez Phaser, and a Behringer Bass Chorus.

Trying to ditch my old wah pedal (Dunlop modded) and Grunge for a new Tech 21 Double Drive, to go in it's place.

This comes after days of emotional tumult on whether to post such a worthless pedalboard in a thread which hosts the likes of Scotch's insane board. Here's my infant collection, <1 year old :

Considering almost no bassist in my neck of the woods uses effects, I don't think it's too bad. :excuse #5424:

Looking to expand and get a delay and a compressor in the near future.

That's a cool case Champ. I think a delay would compliment that collection nicely :)

Here's a shot of the current manifestation of my board. The Flipster has been replaced by the GhostDrive (tweaked hybrid DOD 250 clone) and the Maxon AD9 is making it's debut. I've modded the Sugar Rush for more bass. I like the character of the Fuzz Face, but it dropped out of the mix with the stock caps. After practice next week I'll see if it can hang in the mix now or if it gives the spot back to my muff.

You've got the best graphics for your pedals. I really dig the half-black designs, but these are great too. Have you compared the Brassmaster clone to a Malekko B:Assmaster?

Thanks! The half-black designs were intended to add some unity to all of my designs, but I've branched out a bit. I've even redone a few of my earlier designs as my decal skills have improved :)

This is one that I've recently re-worked.

I've not had the pleasure of comparing my clone to a B:Assmaster, but I've been very happy with the clone. It's one of those "I only use it for one song" pedals, but it fits that song like a glove.

I haven't recorded any of these builds as of yet. Maybe in the next few weeks I'll try to get some up.
