Nice. I always liked that color. I have a non-RW burst Dirnt and a RW white one, but I love the cream colored bodies. I like that.

I used a MIM Cabronita neck for mine too. The neck, reverse tuners, and bridge were from a Cabronita I had and gave the body to our guitarist. WD guard and some DiMarzio pickups. The see thru white/grain is nice and pretty heavily checked, albeit hard to capture. I like this mongrel maybe more than my factory one!
That's beatiful, and the Framus inspired logo is the icing on the cake.

Custom, ash body, light nitro finish; far east neck; Wilkie tuners and bridge; Zhangbucker Donny C pup. Can't recall what the circuit is. Only complaint I have is that there is a slight rattle off the truss rod.

my custom built short scale telecaster bass (swamp ash, one piece maple neck)- 7lbs 5 oz):
This is Katherine, a Harley Benton PB-50 w/ashstray and a Telecaster guitar pickup. A neck swap to maple block jazz is planned. Here is a the neck on the body.
I used Boomers for over 20 years along with an occasional set of Roto's. I loved the tone I got from new Roto's but they didn't keep that Fresh/Bright tone very long and they also seemed to be hit or miss getting a set that the E or A would prematurely just go dead.
About 5 years ago I came across a YT video of dUg Pinnick talking about his similar experience with the Roto's and how someone introduced him to DR Hi-Beams. He made a statement about how for many many years he used the Roto's because it was the only strings that he had found that had the tone he loved. He said that the Hi-Beams had the tone but kept their bright fresh so much longer. At the time I was communicating with dUg thru YouTube Messages(before they removed messages) and asked him if that was what he was still using. He told me to try them and even told me the gauge he was using. I wish I'd have known about them 25 years earlier. I'd have saved a whole lot of $$. It just blows me away how long they keep that fresh bright tone. DR is doing something different than all the other string companies, IMO. I've been using the coated strings on some of my Basses for a few years now and have had similar/great results.
I did have good results years ago with the Dean Markley Blue Steels but they where expensive and hard to find. I've also have heard many speak about D'Addario NYXL's and the E.B. Colbalts but I haven't put out the big $$ to try them. I'm still amazed and so happy with DR's. I hope they keep putting them out. Link Removed

That's awesome! Funnily enough, my co-worker is blasting some King's X as I was reading this, haha. I was wondering about the EB Cobalts, but I just really dig what I get with the neons I'm not ready to check them out.
I want to add two more pickups. Probably Gretsch type
