That looks a bit angular for a breast. I think he's got some body part confusion going.

I made this song and video right after I got out of the St. Cloud Hospital Behavioral Health Clinic after a manic episode. Making songs is therapeutic for me but I have very limited resources. I am looking for more samples of various field recordings of machinery and other loud noises, please send them in your response so I can continue making music with what little I have. OR you could record and send me samples of dark basslines with a lot of chorus effect on them for me to sample. Thanks for your vague interest, besides collaborating hit me up if you wanna listen to christian death and cut ourselves or whatever hehe jk kinda or not

This was in the Palm Springs CL; if he wants to go surfing he's got a minimum 2 hour drive ahead of him in various directions. He's obviously from the east coast, but it's always funny how when these formerly 'big time' guys move out to the sticks they will list all their creds, but not their name. His website would be the last thing I'd be uneasy about. Actually, it's not an unreasonable ad, it's just a little overblown.

Guitarist with 39 gold/plat credits avail for subs, casuals, sessions
00000_dR9K3J7rZ8S_600x450.jpg

I like playing in cover bands or pro gigs and I like to work.

I have a flexible schedule and function under the philosophy of do whatever it takes.
Singing a little lead if needed, arranging and singing strong harmony, sight reading when necessary, day or night gigs, or going on the road a bit are just due course in the job.

When you contact me to visit my website, you may become uneasy about my gold/platinum live and recording credits resulting from many years playing with real household name rock stars that you know. That is unnecessary. I do not particularly concern myself with what I play as long as it is in time, in tune, and decent quality.

Although it is unusual for me or someone like me to be on Craigslist as a player, if you need a sub guitarist drop me an email and we can go from there. If it is anonymous or does not address your specific needs, telephone number, or what you are about, I probably will not reply. So, please provide pertinent information. I am only interested in "actively working" situations with a full or part-time live performance calendar. I am willing to do sub and pick-up dates in any style from rock to jazz to R&B etc.

If you are an "original" band you would need a budget that is comparable to the rock superstars I have played with. It wouldn't be fair to give you the same service without similar compensation. HOWEVER, COVER BANDS, CASUALS, SESSIONS, AND SUB DATES ARE PERFECT AND I AM NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE COMPENSATION LEVEL. But, I don't work on spec or for free.

Partial and Random List of Live and/or Recording Credits including some oldies acts that had their biggest success in the late 1980s, which is when I played with them, BUT I AM NOT PARTICULARY OLDIES ORIENTED THEY WERE JUST VERY GOOD GIGS.

Tell me what you need: To cover your live gig, casual, or be a sub? A reading gig? Film? A session? All the right skills and gear.

Obviously, this isn't a career move. I recently relocated to do things for myself such as learn to surf and bask in the sunshine. I just want to do local/regional (within 4 hours) dates and sessions. I don't need to go on the road or travel back to New York and Nashville.

I'm not sure what's worse, this guy trying to pass off a $150.00 Squier bass as a $500.00+ Fender, or the fact that he shows a photo of the "exact" Fender bass with price which is totally different, or the fact that he thinks people are stupid enough to fall for it!

He must not have found any takers, for he reposted the ad with a pic of himself on May 4. I found it amusing that he posted in the Palm Springs CL, but his subject header says (OC), which I assume is Orange County. The traffic between those locations is horrendous and makes me glad I no longer live in SoCal. If he's so awesome, why would he be willing to deal with the commute? Shouldn't people want to go to him?

I was unable to find his secret website whose address he only gives out to prospective musicians who write to him. Too bad, because I really wanted to see it.

What is that pink thing?

This guy on kijiji in Saskatchewan (Canada) wants $1000 for a Rickenbacker copy, like the kind that they sell on Aliexpress for $300...its not even one of the "Logical" branded ones that go through set up in Canada (those sell new for around $600-700). This is so clearly NOT a "lawsuit" bass, and even if it was, $1000 would still be overpriced. Clearly this guy is delusional.

I laughed so hard when he sent me an email saying his price that I almost fell over! :roflmao:
We got a rick copy guy here too on CL .......very proud he is.....

Trade 9 Samurai - Ninja Swords for Guitar

"I have 9 samurai - ninja swords...Very nice. I want to trade them all for a electric guitar."

First, let me say this is awesome.

Second, I think we are witnessing one step in the evolutionary chain of man: primordial ooze ---> ninja swords ---> guitar player ---> hominid primate...

Man, not a funny find, but I got a doozy of a response on to an ad that I placed. Guy demanded to be shown the serial # off of an instrument that I posted because "it's not real." I sent him the link to the same instrument on MF, and took a picture of my receipt from guitar center, on top of the fact that one of my pictures in the ad has the "inspected in America by ..." sticker, and another has the headstock (so it has the brand and model there too).

I'm hoping he was trolling for the sake of trolling, but I went ahead and reported it. I'd post his email response here, but it has way too much NSFW language in it.

A guy in Ohio has been trying to sell his Ric 2060 on Craigslist for a very long time. Someone finally called him out. It reads:

"Sir, you've had that budget-model Rickenbacker bass for sale on Craigslist for years....literally....years. If someone actually wanted it, then surely it would have sold by now. Maybe it's time to consider options?

1. Deeply lower your asking price.
2. Throw it in a bonfire and roast marshmallows.
3. Join a punk rock band and smash it on stage during an emotional outburst.
4. Screw four wooden legs onto it to create an interesting coffee table.
5. Donate it to a school or church.
6. Send it to live with its mother after expressing your disappointment with its life choices.
7. Use it to paddle a canoe.
8. Give it to a stranger so that it can then be sold inexpensively for drug money.
9. Go to Guitar Center and trade it in for a tambourine. Everyone loves tambourines.
10. Wear a Darth Vader costume and play it audaciously while screaming obscenities at people in Wal-Mart."
